NYAHO MEDICAL CENTRE, the new name of Nyaho Clinic, was established in March 1970 by Dr. Kwami Nyaho Tamaklo.
Nyaho Medical Centre provides high quality health care services to the general public and its client base includes individuals, corporate bodies, embassies and international agencies such as U.N.D.P., WHO etc.
Nyaho's system of practising medicare attracts specialists in every medical and surgical field. These specialists are able to use their skills efficiently and work cooperatively in a team approach to patient care. This team approach is the key to Nyaho's success.
Nyaho Clinic started with eight specialists. This was the beginning of a group medical practice and today NYAHO MEDICAL CENTRE boasts of over forty specialists working together for the benefit of the patient.
In-Patient Services
The Centre has a 31 bed in-patient ward. Each room has a toilet and bath attached. The ward also has a 6 bassinet nursery, an operating theatre, a three-bedded labour room and a delivery suite.
A full meal package is included in ward fees, consisting of breakfast, lunch and supper.
In-patient services include general medicine, surgery, obstetrics, gynaecology and paediatrics.
Paramedical Services
The Centre also runs among others laboratory services, including biochemical and haematology tests, ultrasound, x-rays, electrocardiography and stress ECG.
