Profile of His Excellency
Nana Owusu-Nsiah, Ghana’s Ambassador to Telaviv, Isreal


H. E. Nana Owusu-Nsiah is a Lawyer and Accountant. On completion of his Middle School Education in 1962, he entered St Andrews Teachers' Training College - Mampong, Ashanti where he pursued a 4 - year certificate 'A' course. He taught both primary and middle schools as a Head Teacher for about five years and then entered the Advanced Teachers' College, Winneba to read Mathematics. He later continued his education at the University of Ghana, Legon on three occasions for a Diploma in Financial Administration, B.S. (Adm. Degree) and an MBA. He entered the Ghana School of Law where he was called to the Bar in 1990 as Barrister at Law and Solicitor of the Supreme Court f Ghana.

H. E. Nana Owusu-Nsiah has a wide range of work experience. He has worked with the Ghana Education Service as Head teacher, as part-time lecturer and also as Senior Lecturer. He has served as an Assistant Registrar with the National House of Chiefs, Kumasi, as an Accountant with the Agricultural Development Bank and as the Inspector-General of Police.

He is a member of the Ghana Bar Association, Chartered Institution of Administrators and Institute of Financial Accountants. He is married with five children and enjoys playing table tennis and listening to gospel and cultural music.
