Profile of His Excellency
MR. Nana Kwadwo Seinti Ghana’ s Ambassador to Malaysia


H.-E.-Mr.-Nana-Kwadwo-SeintiHis Excellency Mr. Nana Kwadwo Seinti was born in 1941 to Opanin Yaw Mensah and Madam Akua Mfodwah, both of Nkawkaw in the Brong-Ahafo region. He is married to Augustina Ohene-Seinti and has five children. His main interests are reading and traveling.

His work experience began as a pupil teacher in 1971 to 1974. From 1974 to 1978 he was a tutor at Techiman Secondary School. He moved to Ogbomosho, Nigeria in 1978 where he was employed as a tutor in a Secondary School and was also the coordinator of Ghanaians resident in the city. He was an examiner for WAEC and rose to become a Team Leader in Commerce from 1974 to 1984.

Nana Seinti returned to Ghana in 1984 and worked as Director of Finance for Confidence Line Ltd until he left the company in 1991. He established a private venture, Emasmarks Ltd and run that company until 1999. He served as a member of his party's National Fund Raising Committee from 1995 to 2000.

In 2000 he moved to Duayaw Nkwanta in the Brong-Ahafo Region to work on his farm. He was enstooled Akyempimhene of the Duayaw Nkwanta Traditional Area. While serving as the Akyempimhene, Nana Seinti also served as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Tano District Mutual Health Insurance Scheme and was also the Chairman of the Board of Governors of Boakye Tromu Secondary Technical School.

In 2003 he was appointed Regional Minister of the Brong-Ahafo region and resigned his position as a chief. He was reappointed as Regional Minister during the second term of H. E. President John Agyekum Kufour, in 2005.

His Excellency Nana Kwadwo Seinti assumed duty as Ghana's High Commissioner to Malaysia on 5th June, 2006.
