Profile

Mr. Muhammed Fuseini Inusah was born on 28th March, 1963 at Tamale in the Northern Region of Ghana. He pursued a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Ghana from 1987 to 1990 and also held a Master of Arts Degree from the Legon Centre for International Affairs.

At base, he has served as Desk Officer at the Middle East and Asia Bureau and the Economic Relations Bureau. He functioned as an Assistant Director at the Economic, Trade and Investment Bureau for a year, served as a Personal Assistant at the Office of the Hon. Minister of Foreign Affairs from February to October 2001, and again as an Assistant Director at the Economic, Trade and Investment Bureau.

At post, he has served at the Ghana Embassy in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, the Consulate-General of Ghana at Jeddah, Saudi Arabia and the Embassy of Ghana in Beijing, Peoples Republic of China. He is currently the Acting Director at the Bilateral Economic Cooperation Bureau.

Mr. Muhammed Fuseini Inusah is married with three children. He enjoys athletics and football.

CORE FUNCTIONS OF THE BILATERAL COOPERATION BUREAU

1. Handling of correspondences and reports as well as preparing briefs, speeches and covering meetings on bilateral economic issues;

2. Representing the Ministry on committees set up by other MDAs to deal with specific bilateral economic issues;

3. Liaising with Ghana missions abroad and the diplomatic community in Ghana on matters of bilateral economic cooperation.

4. Responsible for Ghana's participation in Permanent Joint Commission for Cooperation and coordination of
implementation of the outcome of the Joint Commissions.

5. Coordinate and facilitate visit of economic and technical delegations to the country in collaboration with relevant MDAs.
